I have been creating art since I was a little girl, and used that love of all things artistic to earn a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Oregon State University in the winter of 2007.
Later, I went on to earned a Master's degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Marylhurst University in 2012. As a result, I have worked with geriatric populations in memory care as well as in the crisis and community mental health services since that time. While I enjoy the people I have met and the people I have worked with and for, I found myself seeking a more creativity driven life and chose to go back to school for graphic design. I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree with a focus in Graphic Design from Mt. Hood Community College in 2016.
The work I create is primarily focused on subjects represented in a highly illustrative way. I am inspired by the art nouveau period, fantasy, and the beauty of the natural world around me: in short, I am rather eccentric and enjoy bringing a sense of fun and whimsy to my work.
